Snohomish County’s largest spring home show opens today at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, Wash.
Billed as the biggest home show event in Northern Washington, this popular favorite has been delighting residents of the north counties for 26 years, and this year is no exception. You’ll find a diverse selection of companies serving the Pacific Northwest home and garden market, with an emphasis on those that are locally based. There are contractors and builders. Interior designers and deck specialists. Fireplaces and HVAC. Gardening experts and more.
Although there is an emphasis on businesses, craftsmen, and artisans from Snohomish County, there is plenty of interest for those from outside the area. Local artisans such as Arlington-based Sew ‘n’ Spuds are showcasing their unique burlap embroidery art, created from vintage burlap potato bags. Interior designers such as Interior Design & Staging by Trina and design/build firms such as Armada Design & Build and Northlight Custom Home Builder will be on hand to talk with show visitors about the latest in design and building trends, as well as a host of home improvement companies, such as award-winning Valentine Roofing.
New this year is a flower, tree, and plant sale by West Coast Nursery, whose owner, Becky Crisp, will speak daily on “All Things Gardening" during the show’s seminar series. Other featured speakers include garden expert Ciscoe Morris (Saturday only), Charlie Cooper of Armada Design & Build, who will share his insights on “Before You Remodel: Expert Advice Every Homeowner Should Know,” and Todd Fahlman of the Realty ONE Group, who will address “The 3 Most Expensive Real Estate Mistakes to Avoid in 2026.”
In addition to seeing some of the leading local home and garden vendors in the region, show visitors can take advantage of the many special show giveaways and show-only discounts being offered. Exhibitors such as Lines Painting are giving away free five-gallon paint buckets to attendees, and companies including Fast Home Services are offering show-only discounts, with $200 off new water heater installations and more.
The Washington State Evergreen Spring Home Show runs now through Sunday, April 26th. Show hours are Friday noon to 5 pm; Saturday 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. Ticket prices are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, and free for ages 16 and under. Tickets are for purchase only with cash.
