Northwest Remodeling Expo Opens Today at the Seattle Convention Center

Whether you’re interested in remodeling or redecorating your home, this weekend’s Northwest Remodeling Expo has a host of design ideas to inspire you.

In partnership with the Northwest Society of Interior Designers (NWSID), the Expo features everything from contractors and builders such as Irons Brothers Construction and Armada Design & Build to appliances, art and furniture, with an emphasis on the Pacific Northwest.   Although tailored more toward homeowners and would-be homeowners, there is plenty to appeal to renters as well, including the “Designer Matchmaker” booth.

One of the key features of the Expo that also sets it apart from other home shows, “Designer Matchmaker” offers visitors the chance for free interior design consultations with NWSID members.  NWSID has a rotation of designers throughout the weekend to offer visitors complimentary 20 minute consultations on their design needs.  Attendees can bring in photos and plans for their spaces for the designers to review and offer advice.

The Northwest Remodeling Expo runs today through Sunday.  Show hours on Friday are noon to 6 pm, Saturday 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday 11 am to 5 pm.  Tickets are $5 for adults, but you can sign up for two complimentary tickets by visiting https://homeshowcenter.com/ticketdiscount/seattle.
