Local Old Growth Red Cedar Furniture from Cedardog Creations of Mount Vernon

Locally manufactured products from old growth wood can be a rarity.  However, this is the speciality of Mount Vernon, Wash.-based Cedardog Creations - and what a result it is!

Reclaimed from old growth Western red cedar of logging from a century ago, Cedardog Creations creates a host of unique, handcrafted products for the home - all from this old growth wood.  Outdoor furniture, planters, signs and even homes for pets are part of their product line.

Cedardog Creations sends staff on foot to the Cascade Mountains to harvest the remains of 1900 era logging operations.  Once they have harvested the wood, helicopters are sent in to transport this wonderful old-growth wood for production.  No new tree removal is involved, just reclaiming the remains of old logging operations.

Products include items such as end tables, chairs, outdoor planters, signs and even chicken coops.  All hand crafted by Cedardog Creations artisans.
