Fall is just around the corner, and time for homeowners to think about ways to keep their homes safe for the shorter days ahead. At the Washington Home Show this past weekend at the Seattle Center, there were a host of home improvement ideas for homeowners to help them prepare for the upcoming fall and winter months, from exterior improvements such as roofs and gutters to holiday entertaining.
With the upcoming rainy months ahead, exhibitors such as Seattle Roofing Company showcased offerings from new roof replacements to its packages that service your roof, without a full roof replacement. Gutter companies such as Leafguard Seattle and LeafFilter Seattle demonstrated their covered gutter systems that help keep yard debris out of your gutters, minimizing the need for climbing ladders to clean out debris. RINC Electric displayed a variety of backup generators to keep power on during blackouts, including movable generators on wheels that can be installed in your garage.
Prepping for holiday entertaining? Exhibitors such as Keystone Kitchens and Krafter’s Land Cabinetry showcased ways to improve your kitchens for the holidays, including Keystone Kitchen’s locally made cabinets. Need some help with kitchen organization? ShelfGenie of Seattle had a variety of its unique cabinet organization systems on display to help you organize your kitchen for the holidays and beyond.
